Adventures in Networking
Social media allows entrepreneur the power to connect with other like-minded people from everywhere. This gives people options past those who they know personally and who are often times the most critical. We all have ideas and we want to act on those ideas. We want to work with others who like our ideas and who want to help develop our ideas. Facebook groups are great ways to expand our ideas and learn from others who have both succeeded and failed. We also can establish connections to gain access to area that may not have been open to us twenty years ago.
It used to be that we would explain, or attempt to explain in some cases, our ideas to family members and get rigid responses like ” it is too risky” or “how much is it going to cost?” With the advent of social media we can expand our proverbial inner circle out further. We can attract those who have the same dreams as Leslie did, especially through Facebook.
This is why I started YouSocial, because of what Leslie writes:
“I am really excited to start working with this new group of photographers and expand my opportunity for networking even further.” (emphasis added)
I do not know Leslie, however I know the excitement one gets when they are around others with similar attitudes and dreams. This is why social media has exploded, because people are excited to talk to other people who see the opportunity in life. Dream on Leslie and keep your social network connected and I guarantee your success in all your ventures.
